Mother Tongues Announce Debut EP with Buzz Records

Toronto’s been busting out some of 2020’s best music, and we’re not surprised that Mother Tongues are one of the acts standing out. Over the last year the band have made a massive wave within the live music community and even managed to get signed to Buzz Records with minimal content online.

The psych quintet have unveiled details on their debut EP release ‘Everything You Wanted’ out July 31 via Buzz Records while simultaneously releasing the first track ‘Let You Down.’

“We’re music lovers and that’s who we made this record for. It’s our compass and the catalyst for everyone and everything near and dear to us. More than anything, I hope the record expresses a sense of wonder to the listener. I think we downplay that aspect, you’re rippin’ it through a fuzz pedal, vibrating frequencies in the air and affecting people’s emotions, changing their brain chemistry.
