Manchester’s own CJ Wood, also known for his work in The Fruits Tones and Organic Zip, has released his first solo single “Prop Yourself Up.” Mastered by Jonny Coddington (Bottle Rocket Recording), this groovy and succulent track transports you to a distant dream.
Lyrically, Wood has challenged himself to preserver through trying times, stating the track is “written about my brain turning into mush and trying be proactive against that!” The plot itself tied together with it’s twangy’-esk summery 70s vibes seamlessly falls into the palm of the listener's hands. The tune is an anthem for a summer stuck in isolation.
