Groovy Tunes was created out of the idea to highlight underground music culture. With minimal publications within the Canadian music industry providing this form of media coverage, Groovy Tunes takes on that missing piece and gives artists the support to thrive.
What started as a small music blog has blossomed into something extraordinary. After an interaction with Albert Hammond Jr., the goal became clear; provide a music publication dedicated to the subculture community.
After providing film content for the first few years and with collaborators looking to re-brand, Groovy Tunes took a shift and began to incorporate written content. With this addition, the publication began to produce more content than ever.
