LEVITATION- Austin, TX Announces 2021 Lineup

Yesterday, LEVITATION - Austin, TX, unveiled their lineup for 2021, the twelfth instalment of the festival. This year, the celebrations have been moved to Halloween weekend, taking place October 27 - October 31.

As before, we will see Levitation acts perform at a multitude of different music venues across the city, such as Stubb’s, Mohawk, Empire, Hotel Vegas, Cheer Up Charlies, Central Presbyterian Church and more. The festival will be co-presented by Night Flight, Death By Audio, Creem, 100% Electronica, Gorilla Vs Bear, The Reverberation Appreciation Society, Space Flight Records, plus shows at Mohawk presented with Austin’s new Resound Presents.

LEVITATION, founded in 2008 as Austin Psych Fest, by members of The Black Angels and friends, became a global movement, with similar events developing in France, Chicago and Vancouver, along with ongoing events in Austin and special events in Europe and Latin America.

Throughout the pandemic, LEVITATION has released a number of live performance streams and live albums via LEVITATION Sessions. While doing so, the festival raised funds for non-profits and causes such as National Independent Venue Association, Direct Relief and Red River Cultural District.
