Faux Real Reveal Release Date for Debut EP

Mark it down now, as you can expect the self-titled debut EP from brother-duo act Faux Real to be released on April 3rd. The release date comes just one week after the pair premiered their second single “Boss Sweet.”

The pair have taken the subculture community by storm with their almost-always sold out overwhelming and energetic live performances.

Franco-American brothers Elliott and Virgile Arndt invoked their union in the summer of 2018 and have birthed their new project Faux Real. Both men have been working within the music and arts community for some time on a variety of other projects. You may recognized Elliott Arndt’s directing and photography skills, and his other musical project Vanishing Twins. Virgile Arndt also performed in a different musical project called Natas Loves You, but called it quits in 2015.

The pair released their first single “Second Sweat” in July of 2019; a track co-produced by none other than Jay Watson (Pond, GUM, Tame Impala), who also performed the drums and synthesizers parts. Later in September 2019, the duo joined Kirin J Callinan on a trio rendition of “Life Is Life,” through French publication La Blogothèque.

Faux Real really put the emphasis on taking creative control and we’re digging it. Their femme businessman persona and picasso creatives are something out of a fantasy. We’re eagerly awaiting “Faux Real” to drop, the count-down is on!
