Desert Daze Festival Announces 2022 Line-Up

Desert Daze, a festival that celebrates the melding of nostalgic rock music and art forms, has dropped a bombshell of a line-up for it’s 10 year anniversary. Featuring massive headline acts such as Tame Impala, Iggy Pop, and King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard, to new and longstanding artists and bands from the community like Shannon & the Clams, Viagra Boys, L.A. Witch, Babe Rainbow, Surfbort and so many more, we can confidently say Desert Daze is the place to be this September!

Since the 2018 festivities, Desert Daze has been located at Lake Perris, located just an hour and a half outside of Los Angeles. The park grounds feature a sandy lake shore beach, camping grounds, and tree-lined shade all nestled inside a mountain range horizon. The lake and shore are available to everyone for swimming and lounging and the festival encourages those attending to take full advantage of trail, sights, and sounds.

The grounds will be illuminated by an array of video artists and art installations including work by Tarik Barri, Mad Alchemy Liquid Light Show, Slim Reaper, and more. Multidisciplinary artist Cristopher Cichocki also returns to the beach, curating this year’s installment of The Sanctuary featuring clipping., Silent Servant, Kid 606 and more, as well as Cichocki’s own Circular Dimensions Immersive Sound Installation and DJ sets from Nosaj Thing and Telefon Tel Aviv.

In addition to the music, the weekend will feature screenings and talks including a screening of Hamilton's Pharmacopeia followed by a Q&A with host Hamilton Morris, a conversation on Mysticism in the Music Industry with artist and occultist Micki Pellerano, with very special guests to be announced.

Desert Daze is also a fully accessible festival and are constantly trying to improve their efforts.
