Canadian Artists Release Compilation Album to Raise Money for Black, Indigenous, and LGBTQ2S Charities
EVER NEW is a benefit compilation of new music and covers by Canadian artists. All proceeds will be going to Canadian organizations that benefit Black, Indigenous, and LGBTQ2S+ peoples.
The compilation starts off with a cover of Beverly Glenn-Copeland’s 1986 song of the same title, done by The Head (Joseph Shabason and Thom Gill) and singer Jennifer Castle. Mac Demarco, Luna Li, New Fries, Cindy Lee, Alex Zhang Hungtai, Chad VanGaalen, Badge Époque Ensemble, and FRIGS are just some of the artists that have contributed.
EVER NEW was curated by Max Mertens and Sarah Mackenzie, and features original artwork by Alex Sheriff.
