Peace Chord Releases Debut Single "Crescent of Sun"

Peace Chord is a reflective new project by Daniel Robertson, best known for his core measures in Vancouver art-collective Crack Cloud. After the chaos “between harm-reduction work in overdose prevention sites and low-barrier shelters, and touring with Crack Cloud” had subsided, Robertson “found stillness for the first time after three years of oscillation.”
“Crescent of Sun,” the debut track from Peace Chord, creates an atmosphere of tranquility. Floating on infinite layers spectral synth, a phantasm river takes you downstream where the haunting of suppressed emotions begin to light your path. There is a clear sense of a safe space allowing you to explore your thoughts on the realities you’ve experienced.
Robertson’s project arrives at the perfect time, given the fears we are all facing with a second wave from the pandemic, elections, and the unpredictable future to come.
