Das Beat Share New Single & Video for “Identität”

German-Canadian duo Das Beat have quickly returned with their newest single “Identität,” the title track of the groups debut EP out June 4 via Arbutus Records.

Das Beat is made up of German actress & vocalist Eddie Rabenberger and Canadian musician Agor best know for his involvement in Blue Hawaii. After Agor made the move from Montreal to Berlin during the 2020 pandemic, the pair began creating music out of boredom which resulted in hypnotic trance-like music. Their modern take on German New-Wave and Italo Disco is the pop-power you never knew you needed until now. Mixing German and English into their playful and catchy lyrics only makes their music even more of the power trip.
