While out on tour in Los Angeles, California, The Nude Party’s tour videographer Bryan Janiczek suffered a significant set-back to his career and personal life. The New York based creative broke his left tibia and required serious knee surgery. Since his accident in August, Janiczek has been unable to work, meaning pay rent has become a major challenge and stress. Just before the accident occurred, Janiczek lost his health insurance, and with treatment held in Arizona, the medical bills began to add up, estimated at around 100K (USD).
Bryan Janiczek attended Appalachian State University in North Carolina, where he majored in Electronic Media/Broadcasting. While studying, Janiczek put most of his efforts into video and audio production, leading him to his present career.
Janiczek has been living in New York, USA, for the past two years, working as a working in production as Personal Assistant and a Grip worker. Music videos such as ‘Personality Change’ by Glove and ‘Checkin’ Out Late’ by Max Pain and the Groovies are just a few of the projects Janiczek has been apart of.
For the time being, Janiczek’s full focus and efforts are being put into his recovery.
The Nude Party have been ever so gracious and set-up a gofundme page to help raise money to cover a portion of the debt.
“Our tour videographer Bryan Janiczek suffered a major leg injury while in Los Angeles. He broke his tibia at the knee, requiring serious surgery and leading to a months-long recovery process.
Having no medical insurance, Bryan’s sudden medical debts are staggering. The total billing after surgery and care is for about $100,000. As a young freelancer living and working out of New York City, it just isn’t possible for him to afford that on his own.
Your donation goes directly toward Bryan’s medical bills, as well as his accumulated living expenses while he is debilitated and unable to work.”
The Nude Party, accompanied by Native Sun and Dropper, will be hosting a benefit show where 100% of the proceeds will be going towards helping Bryan get back on his feet.
Tickets are $20 (USD) and the show will be hosted at The Sultan Room in Brooklyn, New York.
